Sh'mot (Exodus) Chapter 11 (Continued)

Sh'mot 11:9-10 Then the L-RD said to Moshe, "Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that My wonders will be multiplied in the land of Egypt." And Moshe and Aharon performed all these wonders before Pharaoh; yet the L-RD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the sons of Israel go out of his land. NAS

Again, many hearts are also hardened against His Son and the peace He brings. We are to declare there is no distinction and to understand it; however, many still do not understand and they shall not enter His rest.

Romans 10:1-13 For they don't understand that Messiah has died to make them right with G-d. Instead they are trying to make themselves good enough to gain G-d's favor by keeping the Jewish laws and customs, but that is not G-d's way of salvation. They don't understand that Messiah gives to those who trust in him everything they are trying to get by keeping his laws. He ends all of that. For Moses wrote that if a person could be perfectly good and hold out against temptation all his life and never sin once, only then could he be pardoned and saved. But the salvation that comes through faith says, "You don't need to search the heavens to find Messiah and bring him down to help you," and, "You don't need to go among the dead to bring Messiah back to life again." For salvation that comes from trusting Messiah-which is what we preach-is already within easy reach of each of us; in fact, it is as near as our own hearts and mouths. For if you tell others with your own mouth that Yeshua HaMashiach is your L-rd and believe in your own heart that G-d has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with G-d; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation. For the Scriptures tell us that no one who believes in Messiah will ever be disappointed. Jewish people and Gentile are the same in this respect: they all have the same L-rd who generously gives his riches to all those who ask him for them. Anyone who calls upon the name of the L-rd will be saved.

We believe and it is accounted to us for righteousness.

Galatians 3:6-9 Just as Avraham "believed G-d, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." Therefore know that only those who are of faith/trust are sons of Avraham. And G-d would justify the nations by faith/trusting preached the gospel to Avraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations shall be blessed." So then those who are of faith/trust are blessed with believing Avraham.

Again, Don't set aside the mercy of G-d; for if righteousness comes through the law (instruction), then Messiah died in vain.

Romans 6:1-11 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that mercy might increase?

May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Yeshua HaMashiach have been baptized into His death? Therefore we have been buried with Him through immersion into death, in order that as Messiah was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, that our body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin. Now if we have died with Messiah, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Messiah, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; DEATH NO LONGER IS MASTER over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin, once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to G-d. Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to G-d in Yeshua HaMashiach.

What wonders our L-rd has done.

Tehillim (Psalms) 40:3-16 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our G-d; Many will see and fear And will trust in the L-RD. How blessed is the man who has made the L-RD his trust, And has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood. Many, O L-RD my G-d, are the WONDERS which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count. Sacrifice and meal offering You have not desired; My ears You have opened; Burnt offering and sin offering You have not required. Then I said, "Look, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my G-d; Your Law is within my heart." I have proclaimed GOOD NEWS of righteousness in the great congregation; Look, I will not restrain my lips, O L-RD, You know. I have not hidden YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS within my heart; I have spoken of YOUR FAITHFULNESS and YOUR SALVATION; I have not concealed YOUR LOVINGKINDNESS and YOUR TRUTH from the great congregation. You, O L-RD, will not withhold Your compassion from me; Your loving kindness and Your truth will continually preserve me. For evils beyond number have surrounded me; My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see; They are more numerous than the hairs of my head, And my heart has failed me.

Be pleased, O L-RD, to deliver me; Make haste, O L-RD, to help me. Let those be ashamed and humiliated together Who seek my life to destroy it; Let those be turned back and dishonored Who delight in my hurt. Let those be appalled because of their shame Who say to me, "Aha, aha!" Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love YOUR SALVATION say continually, "The L-RD be MAGNIFIED!"
