Sh'mot 6:14-27 These are the heads of their fathers' households. The sons of Reuben, Israel's first-born: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben. And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon. And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon and Kohath and Merari; and the length of Levi's life was one hundred and thirty-seven years. The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families. And the sons of Kohath: Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel; and the length of Kohath's life was one hundred and thirty-three years. 19 And the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations. And Amram married his father's sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aharon and Moshe; and the length of Amram's life was one hundred and thirty-seven years. And the sons of Izhar: Korah and Nepheg and Zichri. And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael and Elzaphan and Sithri. And Aharon married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. And the sons of Korah: Assir and Elkanah and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites. And Aharon's son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers' households of the Levites according to their families. It was the same Aharon and Moshe to whom the L-RD said, "Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts." They were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt about bringing out the sons of Israel from Egypt; it was the same Moshe and Aharon.
Generations of man.
Here we see a list of the first 3 tribes only with special emphasis on the tribe of Levi. The Levites were the priestly tribe. In this passage we trace the family line of Aharon and Moshe.
Sh'mot 6:28-30 Now it came about on the day when the L-RD spoke to Moshe in the land of Egypt, that the L-RD spoke to Moshe, saying, "I am the L-RD; speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I speak to you." But Moshe said before the L-RD, "Look, I am unskilled in speech; how then will Pharaoh listen to me?" NAS
I am unskilled in speech - Again we see Moshe protesting because he does not want to do any public speaking.
We are to boast in our weaknesses. However, these weaknesses are not to be an excuse for not serving Him. He is the one who does the work in us. Where we are weak, He is strong.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Ha Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But He said to me, "My mercy is sufficient for you, for my POWER is made PERFECT in WEAKNESS." Therefore I will BOAST all the more gladly about my WEAKNESSES, so that Messiah's POWER may rest on me. That is why, for Messiah's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Moshe returned after many years to bring G-d's judgment. Yeshua too will return after many years to bring G-d's judgments on the whole world.
