Yechezk'el (Ezekiel) Chapter 43

The corresponding Hebrew letter to this chapter is Shin-Divine Power, Provision, & Protection. Also corruption.

Yechezk’el 43:1-2 Then he led me to the gate, the gate facing toward the east; and look, the glory of the G-d of Israel was coming from the way of the east. And His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory.

After a long absence, the Glory of G-d will return to the temple from the east. Voice like many water. (cf. Rev. 1)

Yechezk’el 43:3-5 And it was like the appearance of the vision which I saw, like the vision which I saw when He came to destroy the city. And the visions were like the vision which I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face. And the glory of the L-RD came into the house by the way of the gate facing toward the east. And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and look, the glory of the L-RD filled the house.

The Spirit indwells in you right now if you have trusted in Yeshua to take away your sin and asked for Him to come into your heart. He said the Father would send the comforter to us. Our bodies are the temple of Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit). This is the same light that guided the Israelites safely through the desert. The fact that Ruach HaKodesh resides in us should be humbling and make us want to take care of our bodies for we are temples of a Holy G-d. This Spirit guides us and protects us. He teaches us about the Father and the Son. Without the Son we will not have eternal peace of the mind or the heart.

Yochanan (John) 14:25-28 "I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. But when the Father sends the Comforter instead of me-and by the Comforter I mean the Holy Spirit-he will teach you much, as well as remind you of everything I myself have told you. "I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid. Remember what I told you-I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really love me, you will be very happy for me, for now I can go to the Father, who is greater than I am.

2 Corinthians 4:3-7 If the Good News we preach is hidden to anyone, it is hidden from the one who is on the road to eternal death. HaSatan, who is the god of this evil world, has made him blind, unable to see the glorious light of the Good New that is shining upon him or to understand the amazing message we teach about the glory of Messiah, who is G-d. We don't go around preaching about ourselves but about Yeshua HaMashiach as L-rd. All we say of ourselves is that we are your slaves because of what Yeshua has done for us. For G-d, who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," has made us understand that it is the brightness of his glory that is seen in the face of Yeshua HaMashiach. But this precious treasure-this light and power that now shine within us --is held in a perishable container, that is, in our weak bodies. Everyone can see that the glorious power within must be from G-d and is not our own.

Yechezk’el 43:6-9 Then I heard one speaking to me from the house, while a man was standing beside me. And He said to me, "Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the sons of Israel forever. And the house of Israel will not again defile My holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their harlotry and by the corpses of their kings when they die, by setting their threshold by My threshold, and their door post beside My door post, with only the wall between Me and them. And they have defiled My holy name by their abominations which they have committed. So I have consumed them in My anger. "Now let them put away their harlotry and the corpses of their kings far from Me; and I will dwell among them forever.

The place of the soles of My feet - A Spirit does not have feet. This is Yeshua who will sit on the throne in Israel fulfilling the Davidic Covenant.

He will also be seen in the city above.

Revelation 22:1-5 And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of G-d and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. And on either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall no longer be any curse; and the throne of G-d and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His bond-servants shall serve Him; and they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. And there shall no longer be any night; and they shall not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the L-rd G-d shall illumine them; and they shall reign forever and ever.

Revelation 21:10-23 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from G-d, having the glory of G-d. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper. It had a great and high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on the south and three gates on the west. And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And the one who spoke with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city, and its gates and its wall. And the city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal. And he measured its wall, seventy-two yards, according to human measurements, which are also angelic measurements. And the material of the wall was jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. The foundation stones of the city wall were adorned with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. And I saw no temple in it, for the L-rd G-d, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine upon it, for the glory of G-d has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

The Lamb is the light of the city. He is the Word which is also a lamp and light unto our path. He was the light in the beginning. (See our B’resheet (Genesis) study) He continues to be light forever and ever.

Yochanan (John) 8:12 Again therefore Yeshua spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life."

Yechezk’el 43:10 "As for you, son of man, describe the temple to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the plan. "And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the design of the house, its structure, its exits, its entrances, all its designs, all its statutes, and all its laws. And write it in their sight, so that they may observe its whole design and all its statutes, and do them. "This is the law of the house: its entire area on the top of the mountain all around shall be most holy. Look, this is the law of the house. "And these are the measurements of the altar by cubits (the cubit being a cubit and a handbreadth): the base shall be a cubit, and the width a cubit, and its border on its edge round about one span; and this shall be the height of the base of the altar. "And from the base on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the width one cubit; and from the smaller ledge to the larger ledge shall be four cubits, and the width one cubit. "And the altar hearth shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth shall extend upwards four horns. "Now the altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve wide, square in its four sides. "And the ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide in its four sides, the border around it shall be half a cubit, and its base shall be a cubit round about; and its steps shall face the east." And He said to me, "Son of man, thus says the L-rd G-D, 'These are the statutes for the altar on the day it is built, to offer burnt offerings on it and to sprinkle blood on it.

The altar is purified and consecrated.

Yechezk’el 43:19 'And you shall give to the Levitical priests who are from the offspring of Tzadok (Zadok), who draw near to Me to minister to Me,' declares the L-rd G-D,' a young bull for a sin offering. 'And you shall take some of its blood, and put it on its four horns, and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border round about; thus you shall cleanse it and make atonement for it. 'You shall also take the bull for the sin offering; and it shall be burned in the appointed place of the house, outside the sanctuary. 'And on the second day you shall offer a male goat without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull. 'When you have finished cleansing it, you shall present a young bull without blemish and a ram without blemish from the flock. 'And you shall present them before the L-RD, and the priests shall throw salt on them, and they shall offer them up as a burnt offering to the L-RD. 'For seven days you shall prepare daily a goat for a sin offering; also a young bull and a ram from the flock, without blemish, shall be prepared. 'For seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they consecrate it. 'And when they have completed the days, it shall be that on the eighth day and onward, the priests shall offer your burnt offerings on the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you,' declares the L-rd G-D. "

A young bull and a ram. It only covers sin but they still point to the ultimate sacrifice that Yeshua was willing to give by the command of the Father. At this time we look back to our Messiah. Remember the Cherubim. One of the faces was the image was a bull. This represented His servant nature.

Philippians 2:5-8 Yeshua HaMashiach, who, being in the form of G-d, did not consider it robbery to be equal with G-d, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death on the execution stake.

Why is a bull and ram with out blemish? This was physical but also points to the spiritual perfection of the Messiah. The only thing that takes away the wrath of G-d for eternity is the righteousness of the Son.

Romans 3:19-26 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before G-d. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of G-d apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of G-d, through faith in Yeshua HaMashiach, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of G-d, being justified freely by His mercy through the redemption that is in Yeshua HaMashiach, whom G-d set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance G-d had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Yeshua.

His true Father had no sin nature from the first Adam because His Father was from above. The animal sacrifice also reminds us the ugliness of sin and the cost. We were bought for a price. (mohar) We will also see the cost of our eternal redemption by the Father through the Son every time we look upon Yeshua and see His pierced resurrected body.
