Ezekiel 37: 3-6 And He said to me, "Son of man(Adam), can these bones live?" And I answered, "O L-RD G-D, Thou knowest." Again He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the L-RD.' "Thus says the L-RD G-D to these bones, 'Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. 'And I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin, and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the L-RD.' "

The reader will notice the vowels have been removed from the name of our L-rd G-d. This may be the first time the reader has experienced the use of this format. This is done out of respect and reverence for His Holy Name. We also use, in many cases, the Jewish names for Bible characters and terminology rather than their English equivalants.
