Y’hoshua 13:1-7 Now Y’hoshua was old and advanced in years when the L-RD said to him, "You are old and advanced in years, and very much of the land remains to be possessed. This is the land that remains: all the regions of the P’lishtim (Philistines) and all those of the G’shuri (Geshurites); from the Shichor which is east of Egypt, even as far as the border of ‘Ekron to the north (it is counted as Kena’ani (Canaanite)); the five lords of the P’lishtim (Philistines): the Azah (Gazite), the Ashdod (Ashdodite), the Ashkelon (Ashkelonite), the Gat (Gittite), the Ekron (Ekronite); and the Avim (Avvite) to the south, all the land of the Kena’ani (Canaanite), and Me’arah (Mearah) that belongs to the Tzidonim (Sidonians), as far as Afek (Aphek), to the border of the Emori (Amorite); and the land of the Givli (Gebalite), and all of L’vanon (Lebanon), toward the east, from Ba’al-gad below Mount Hermon as far as Hamat (Lebo-hamath). All the inhabitants of the hill country from L’vanon (Lebanon) as far as Misrefot-Mayim (Misrephoth-maim), all the Tzidonim (Sidonians), I will drive them out from before the sons of Israel; only allot it to Israel for an inheritance as I have commanded you. Now therefore, apportion this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half-tribe of M’nasheh (Manasseh)."
Y’hoshua was probably about 100 years old at this point in time. He was recorded as being 110 years old when he died.
Y’hoshua 24:29 And it came about after these things that Y’hoshua the son of Nun, the servant of the L-RD, died, being one hundred and ten years old.
These are the lands west of the Yarden River that Israel was to possess.
The land was not completely possessed by Israel at this time. G-d had given them a mandate to drive out the enemy. Sadly this was not carried out to the extent it should have been.
Y’hoshua 13:8-13 With the other half-tribe, the Re’uveni (Reubenites) and the Gadi (Gadites) received their inheritance which Moshe gave them beyond the Yarden (Jordan) to the east, just as Moshe (Moses) the servant of the L-RD gave to them; from Aro’er, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, with the city which is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Meidva (Medeba), as far as Divon (Dibon); and all the cities of Sichon (Sihon) king of the Emori (Amorites), who reigned in Heshbon, as far as the border of the sons of ‘Amon (Ammon); and Gil’ad (Gilead), and the territory of the G’shuri (Geshurites) and Ma’akati (Maacathites), and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan as far as Salkhah (Salecah); all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtarot and in Edrei (he alone was left of the remnant of the Refa’im (Rephaim)); for Moshe struck them and dispossessed them. But the sons of Israel did not dispossess the G’shuri (Geshurites) or the Ma’akhat (Maacathites); for G’shuri (Geshur) and Ma’akhati (Maacath) live among Israel until this day.
This was the territory on the east side of the Yarden that was given to the tribes of Reuven, Gad, and half of Manasseh.
Y’hoshua 13:14 Only to the tribe of Levi he did not give an inheritance; the offerings by fire to the L-RD, the G-d of Israel, are their inheritance, as He spoke to him.
The offerings by fire to the L-rd and the L-rd the G-d of Israel is their inheritance. What do the offerings by fire represent?
They represent Yeshua our L-rd the lamb of G-d who also is the L-rd G-d of Israel. Most just have not realized it yet. It will be revealed to them as a nation one day. He is Israel’s future salvation.
When we came to know Yeshua because we listened to what Yeshua had to say – He is our inheritance. He is our joy! He is our peace! He is what we have faith in! He is our first love! He is our riches! He will also return as a Lion rewarding those who believe in His name. He will reward those who listen to Moshe who said one would come after him like Moshe and we should listen to him. . He is our eternal salvation! He is our only hope!
Titus 2:13 13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great G-d and Savior, Yeshua HaMashiach;
Y’hoshua 13:15-23 So Moshe gave an inheritance to the tribe of the sons of Reuven according to their families. And their territory was from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, with the city which is in the middle of the valley and all the plain by Meidva (Medeba); Heshbon, and all its cities which are on the plain: Divon and Bamot-ba’al and Beit-baal-m’on, and Yahatz and K’demot (Kedemoth) and Mefa’at (Mephaath), and Kiryatayim (Kiriathaim) and Sivmah (Sibmah) and Tzeret-Shachar (Zereth-shahar) on the hill of the valley, and Beit-p’or and the slopes of Pisgah and Beit-Yeshimot, even all the cities of the plain and all the kingdom of Sicho king of the Emori (Amorites) who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moshe struck with the chiefs of Midyan (Midian), Evi and Rekem and Tzur and Hur and Reva, the princes of Sichon, who lived in the land. The sons of Israel also killed Bil’am (Balaam) the son of B’or, the diviner, with the sword among the rest of their slain. And the border of the sons of Reuven was the Yarden (Jordan). This was the inheritance of the sons of Reuven according to their families, the cities and their villages.
Y’hoshua 13:24-28 Moshe also gave an inheritance to the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad, according to their families. And their territory was Ya’zer (Jazer), and all the cities of Gil’ad (Gilead), and half the land of the sons of ‘Amno (Ammon), as far as Aro’er (Aroer) which is before Rabbah; and from Heshbon as far as Ramot-Mitzpeh (Ramath-mizpeh) and B’tonim (Betonim), and from Machanayim (Mahanaim) as far as the border of Lidvir (Debir); and in the valley, Beit-Haram (Beth-haram) and Beit-Nimrah (Beth-nimrah) and Sukkot (Succoth) and Tzafon (Zaphon), the rest of the kingdom of Sichon king of Heshbon, with the Yarden (Jordan) as a border, as far as the lower end of the Sea of Kinneret (Chinnereth) beyond the Yarden (Jordan) to the east. This is the inheritance of the sons of Gad according to their families, the cities and their villages.
Y’hoshua 13:29-31 Moshe also gave an inheritance to the half-tribe of M’nasheh (Manasseh); and it was for the half-tribe of the sons of M’nasheh (Manasseh) according to their families. And their territory was from Machanayim (Mahanaim), all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Ya’ir (Jair), which are in Bashan, sixty cities; also half of Gil’ad, with Ashtarot and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the sons of Makhir (Machir) the son of M’nasheh (Manasseh), for half of the sons of Makhir (Machir) according to their families.
Y’hoshua 13:32-33 These are the territories which Moshe apportioned for an inheritance in the plains of Mo’av, beyond the Yarden (Jordan) at Yericho (Jericho) to the east. But to the tribe of Levi, Moshe did not give an inheritance; the L-RD, the G-d of Israel, is their inheritance, as He had promised to them.
Notice it states Moshe is the one who gives the inheritance. It was all given to him. The title deed to the earth will also be given to Yeshua. He will then give Israel their land as an inheritance and we will reign on earth with Him.
Revelation 5:5-10"Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals." And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth. And He came, and He took it out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. And when He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy art Thou to take the book, and to break its seals; for you were slain, and did purchase for G-d with your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. "And you have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our G-d; and they will reign upon the earth."
